Corner Brook RNC have reported two women charged with theft and a two vehicle accident at Country Road and Coronation Street. A 34 year old Corner Brook woman has been charged with theft after police were called to an O’Connell Drive business. RNC say they responded to the call at 3:30pm yesterday. The suspects had left in a vehicle but police located the vehicle and identified the woman, who was an occupant. She was released from custody to attend court at a later date.
Shortly before 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Country Road and Coronation Street. The accident caused moderate damage to both vehicles with one vehicle having to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. One driver was issued a ticket for Failure to yield the right of way at an intersection.
Shortly before ten o’clock last night, police were dispatched to a report of a shoplifter at a business in Murphy Square. On arrival the female, a 38 year old resident of Corner Brook, had been detained by loss prevention staff. The woman was arrested and charged with Theft before being released to appear in court at a later date.
