Next week’s two day event kicks off at Corner Brook Regional High with Morgan Lovell, who is the Technical Director at the NL Rugby Union and women's coach Roxanne Butler.
Corner Brook is looking to form a Rugby Program for anyone sixteen and under and there will be a Try Rugby Day next week for those interested. It’s part of preparations for the Summer Games being hosted here. Steve Best joined Bayfm ‘s Lenny Benoit to talk about next week’s two day event that kicks off at Corner Brook Regional High with Morgan Lovell, who is the Technical Director at the NL Rugby Union and Roxanne Butler. That takes place on January 10th followed by the Try Rugby Day on the 11th. Samantha Pomeroy was also in the studio and spoke about her connection to the sport, having been a player since 2010. She’s played with the Rock team, traveled for Rugby events in places like Toronto and Las Vegas, and is hoping to coach the girls team at the Summer Games.
