Tonight’s Party in the Park gets underway 7 o’clock and people must be in attendance to claim a prize.
There’s a chance for some young people to win treasure if they can find the Corner Brook Winter Carnival treasure chest. Committee member Dave Elms, aka Leif the Lucky, says the first year it was held, they buried the chest near Leif’s hut. Elms says after re-thinking the process, they decided to bring the treasure chest to the stage and draw for prizes.
