No objections were received—or no member of the public indicated they would like to attend the public hearing and make representation—by the June 18th deadline.
Corner Brook City Council has cancelled tonight’s public hearing for rezoning of land north of Corporal Pinksen Drive. Council had set tonight at 7 pm to discuss the change from mosaic residential to innovation district, which gives a lot more flexibility on what can be done on the property. The amendment was adopted on April 17th. No objections were received—or no member of the public indicated they would like to attend the public hearing and make representation—by the June 18th deadline. Now, council will be considering the proposed amendments at a meeting on June 24th.
