In a separate project, the city will also receive $7,500 to engage professional services to conduct a feasibility study on the establishment of a farmers’ market. The Qalipu Mi'kmaq First Nation will receive just over $5,8)) to support Qalipu business owners through increased marketing, production of content and member business profiles within the western region. Funding will help boost the area’s potential for investment attraction, as well as provincial food security.
