Meanwhile, the Corner Brook Port will be hosting a Community Port Day on August 16th.

Yesterday was the beginning of a significant week of cruise ship visits at the Port of Corner Brook with a visit from the Volendam. The Holland America Line vessel carries over 2,000 passengers and crew. Patti Ricketts is the Cruise Marketing Coordinator at the Corner Brook Port. She says there are three more cruise ship visits coming within the next week and that means a lot of tourists checking out the downtown area. Ricketts says this is the busiest week scheduled for the season but not out of the norm.

Meanwhile, they will be hosting a Community Port Day on August 16th.
