During the Covid pandemic, fundraising was tough, but a couple of families in the Corner Brook area proved it could be done. Jim Strowbridge joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit yesterday to talk about the “Cuddle Bed Project.” It was during the pandemic the group raised $32,000 to buy two cuddle beds for palliative care. Strowbridge says this is so important for patients and families, and they felt the need to give back. The Cuddle Bed Project is hosting a fundraiser to buy another cuddle bed at the Westmount Club tomorrow between noon and 6pm. There will be five bands performing, a 50/50 draw, and soup and sandwiches.
