The Rowdymen are in Corner Brook today for a show at the Arts and Culture Centre as part of their provincial tour. The band features vocalist George Masswohl, and Newfoundlanders legendary guitarist Gerry Finn and percussionist Greg Hawco. Masswohl says the name came from their love for the book and the movie. This trio of musicians met during the filming of “Come From Away,” in which Hawco performed percussion and Masswohl had a starring role. Together with Juno Award-winning Finn, the trio have set out to continue sharing the music, stories, and spirit of Newfoundland and Labrador to audiences everywhere. The show takes place tonight at the Arts and Culture Centre.
