Many of us remember the movie from the early nineties called, “Groundhog Day” Bill Murray stars as a cynical television weatherman covering the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, but he becomes trapped in a time loop, forcing him to relive February 2 over and over again. Corner Brook’s Off-Broadway Players are putting the story to a musical at the Arts and Culture Center from November 13th -15th. Nick Hamlyn stars as Phil Connors, the big city weatherman in town for the event, and says he’s having a blast with this.
All three shows are 2 and a half hours long starting at 7:30 p.m.
