Mayor Jim Parsons says the famous red Mill Whistler will be back on the roads next Friday, June 27th. Meanwhile, he says they’re not having much luck finding a new train since emission standards are preventing it from getting through customs. Parsons says they sourced a good amount of parts and spent the winter getting the Mill Whistler ready and give it a day off each week for maintenance. He says the train has been a great addition to the city that makes everyone smile.
