The last quarterly carbon rebate is out today for those with direct deposit

    For a family of 4 in Newfoundland and Labrador the estimated quarterly payment is 298 dollars.

    Check those bank accounts because today is the day the last quarterly carbon rebate goes out. For a family of 4 in Newfoundland and Labrador the estimated quarterly payment is 298 dollars, and will be labelled through direct deposit banking as the “Canada Carbon Rebate”. As well, residents of small and rural communities get an additional 20% top-up to the base rebate amount. The total payment (4 quarterly payments) from April 2024 to January 2025 is estimated at 1 192 dollars.
