There are about 800 electric vehicles in the province
The takeCHARGE EVerything EVs Roadshow will be in Corner Brook today for a display at Margaret Bowater Park. It gets underway from 4-7pm. Keith Barrett is the Manager of Energy Solutions with NLPower. He says there are about 800 electric vehicles in the province now and everyone is welcome to come by. “We can answer your questions and we are drawing for a prize, an electric bike,” he says. “I think it will change your mind if you are on the fence over whether an EV is right for you or not.” Barrett says by having an electric vehicle, a person can save between 70-80 percent of their fuel costs.
