The highway is blocked by a jackknifed tractor trailer.
Stephenville RCMP advises that both lanes of travel on the TCH near Barachois Pond Park are currently blocked due to a jackknifed transport truck.
Traffic is moving slowly in both directions and drivers should expect significant delays for at least the next hour.
RCMP issued the advisory just after 10 p.m. Tuesday evening.
