Snow had drifted in around the box so no one knew they were there.
Corner Brook RNC have opened an investigation into a taped up box of kittens being left at the NL West SPCA on Monday (December 8th) Police say there are few details at this time. Meanwhile, a sad post on the NL West SPCA facebook page yesterday also confirmed the incident. The group says someone abandoned kittens there, taped up in a small cardboard box, and at the far end of the building. Snow had drifted in around the box so no one knew they were there. They managed to tear their way out through the cardboard and one kitten was found on the road nearby. That little one is safe now and is doing well. But, the search is on for more kittens, since they managed to catch a picture of another on a security camera.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the shelter or the RNC.
