    Now in its 74th year, the program encourages the creation of new works of art by both professional and non-professional artists of all ages.

    Submissions are now being accepted for the Arts and Letters Awards Program.  Now in its 74th year, the program encourages the creation of new works of art by both professional and non-professional artists of all ages. They get to submit their works for adjudication at an annual competition for the chance at monetary prizes and an exhibition. Original creative works in literature, music, and visual art, are eligible.

    As well, this year’s Arts and Letters Awards Program includes a one-time, multi-disciplinary HERSTORY Empowers category. Artists are invited to create and submit works that reflect on the years of campaigning by suffragists, those women who worked tirelessly to make their voices heard and their votes count one hundred years ago. .   

    The submission deadline is November 19, 2025.
