RCMP are continuing to look for missing 74-year old Robert Beaulne. Police say he was last seen in Twillingate on July 1st. His vehicle, a blue 2009 Chevrolet Impala, was located in Fairbanks on July 2nd. An extensive search of the area where the abandoned vehicle was located has been conducted. Over the last couple of days, extensive ground searches by Exploits Search and Rescue and RCMP Police Dogs Services, as well as aerial searches by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and those coordinated by Provincial Emergency Services Division, were conducted. Searches of the coast line have been conducted by the Canadian Coast Guard. Further aerial searches are anticipated to be completed by the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, once the weather permits, and ground searches are continuing.
