Around 8:30 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 21) police noticed a driver doing 157 km/hr on the TCH near Pinchgut Lake.
So far this week, the RNC have pulled a couple of vehicles off the road and issued multiple tickets after excessive speeding in Western NL. Around 9:15 p.m. on Monday police clocked a vehicle doing 207 km/hr on the Trans Canada Highway near Pasadena. The vehicle was seized from the 28-year-old male driver from St. John’s and he was issued tickets for operating without reasonable consideration for others and speeding.
Around 8:30 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 21) police noticed a driver doing 157 km/hr on the TCH near Pinchgut Lake. The RNC tried to stop the vehicle but the driver fled and police later located the woman at her home in Gallants. She too had her license suspended and vehicle seized. In addition to a speeding ticket, she has been charged with flight from police.
