After getting a degree from Saint Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Caroll headed west and this past summer, returned to live again in Nova Scotia.
He’s been playing bass guitar since the age of 9, has a music degree, just spent 29 years in Alberta, and now Greg Carroll has released a new album. The St. George’s native is a professional musician, singer, songwriter and teacher of music, as a virtual instructor and mentor for Inuit and northern first nations youth. His album is called, “This Side of the Mountain,” and Caroll says music was something he was born with. After getting a degree from Saint Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Caroll headed west and this past summer, returned to live again in Nova Scotia. He realized it’s the songwriters who make the money and the accolades so he decided to do it. Carroll has also been an adjudicator for the juno awards. For more information go to gregcarrolmusic.com
