A New Brunswick man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop by St.. Anthony RCMP. Police say 43-year-old Derek Gillis of New Brunswick was arrested yesterday when officers found cocaine, unstamped tobacco, an imitation firearm, as well as items consistent with drug trafficking. He has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of proceeds of crime and possession of a dangerous weapon. The investigation is continuing.
