Small black bear spotted in Pasadena this morning, town issues advisory

    Avoid leaving food or garbage outside and if you do encounter the bear, remain calm and back away slowly.

    Residents of Pasadena are being advised to keep small pets indoors or on a leash after a small bear was spotted on Circular Road this morning. Avoid leaving food or garbage outside and if you do encounter the bear, remain calm and back away slowly. Never approach a bear. Any sightings should be reported to local wildlife authorities. On Saturday, a bear was also spotted in the Sunnyslope area of Corner Brook.
