Shinearama Day will take place in Corner Brook tomorrow. It’s a not for profit group that started 60 years ago in partnership with Cystic Fibrosis in Canada. Brianna Sheopard is one of the organizers with the Western Regional School of Nursing. She says it’s a group of students fighting for cystic fibrosis. Sheppard says this is their 50th year for shinearama and they’ve been planning it since June. The goal this year is to raise $5,000 and all funds raised stay in Corner Brook.
