Salt project in Bay St. George gets green light from government

    The proponent, Atlas Salt Inc has also met conditions under their Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Plan, and surveys for Black Ash. 

    Plans for the early work on a salt project in Bay St. George have been accepted by government.  The Environment department wanted plans for waste management, wetlands conservation, water resources, bat prevention and environmental protection for the. St. George's Great Atlantic Salt Project. The proponent, Atlas Salt Inc has also met conditions under their Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Plan, and surveys for Black Ash.
