Officers will be proactively looking using checkpoints, radar enforcement and traffic stops.

The new Traffic Unit with the Corner Brook RNC is targeting impaired driving during the holiday season. With New Year’s Eve on the way, Cst Stephanie Myers says motorists can expect to be stopped. Officers will be proactively looking using checkpoints, radar enforcement and traffic stops. On Christmas Eve, Corner Brook Traffic Services treated drivers who adhered to the Move Over Law. They were given a sweet treat in partnership with Premium Towing and Recovery.
