Registration opens today for the "Becoming an Outdoors Woman" workshop at Pinchgut Lake

    Courses include kayaking, wildlife and plant identification, firearm and archery basics, and outdoor cooking.

    The fall 2025 Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop year’s event will run from September 12-14 at Pinchgut Lake just outside Corner Brook. The program offers a variety of activities that enhance participants’ outdoor skills and knowledge. Courses include kayaking, wildlife and plant identification, firearm and archery basics, and outdoor cooking. Designed for individuals 18 years and older the workshop strongly promotes an accessible, inclusive and respectful environment for all participants.
