RCMP waiting on blood test to determine if a 67-year-old Stephenville man will be charged with impaired

    On Wednesday (June 11, 2025.) police stopped a vehicle on Queen Street and the driver, who showed signs of impairment, was taken to hospital for a blood sample.

    A 67-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge after being arrested by RCMP Traffic Services West during a traffic stop in Stephenville. On Wednesday (June 11, 2025.) police stopped a vehicle on Queen Street and the driver, who showed signs of impairment, was taken to hospital for a blood sample. The man’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded. Officers await the results of the test to determine if charges of impaired driving will be laid.
