Rocky Harbour RCMP were called to a potential case of animal abandonment in Cow Head.
Four dogs that were surrendered to the NL West SPCA on Lundrigan Drive in Corner Brook came from Cow Head. Rocky Harbour RCMP were called to a potential case of animal abandonment in the Northern Peninsula town. Cpl Jolene Garland says the animals were willingly turned over by the owner to the SPCA, as the owner was unable to continue proper care. She says charges will not be laid. The dogs can be seen on the NL West SPCA facebook page and are all up for adoption. They have been vet checked, vaccinated and will be spayed/neutered prior to being adopted.
