RCMP NL Make a Wish Trees campaign for children with critical illnesses is into 40th year

    The tree at RCMP Headquarters is decorated in red and gold, with a rainbow star tree topper - which was created especially for a sweet girl, Sarah, and her family.

    Recently, RCMP officers joined Make-A-Wish Canada for their annual Trees of Joy event – a magical day where Wish Kids and their families gather to enjoy beautiful Christmas trees decorated especially for them. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says it’s about fulfilling life changing wishes for local children. This is the 40th year for the Make-a Wish Tree campaign. The tree at RCMP Headquarters is decorated in red and gold, with a rainbow star tree topper - which was created especially for a sweet girl, Sarah, and her family.
