RCMP looking for white passenger car that struck a cyclist in Deer Lake yesterday

    Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says it happened between 1-2 p.m.  at the interchange of Route 430 and the Trans-Canada Highway.

    Deer Lake RCMP is looking for witnesses after a cyclist was struck by a white passenger car yesterday. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says it happened between 1-2 p.m.  at the interchange of Route 430 and the Trans-Canada Highway. The white car  did not stop, and fled from the scene westbound on Highway 1. The cyclist was treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
