The suspects are two males, driving a dark blue car, possibly a Honda Civic, last seen traveling westbound on the TCH.
RCMP are looking for witnesses or dash cam footage after a woman was assaulted roadside around 3 o’clock Friday afternoon. Police say the woman was trying to fix her vehicle in the westbound lane of the Trans Canada Highway near the Brigus Junction. She was approached by two unknown males, who struck her, stole her purse and fled the scene.
The suspects are two males, possibly in their 20s with dark hair. One was dressed in a dark hoodie and jeans, and the other was wearing dark-coloured sweatpants. They were driving a dark blue car, possibly a Honda Civic, last seen traveling westbound on the TCH.
The woman was treated at the scene by Emergency Medical Services personnel for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
