Christina Duffy says this survey covers all aspects of employment, education, traditional skills and volunteer activity. She says they’ve received over 5,000 surveys.
Qalipu First Nations has become part of a Canada wide Indigenous Labour Market survey. On Bayfm’s Qalipu Today this week, Patrick Davis of the Qalipu education and training department, says this is an ongoing survey. The survey is about 30 pages but it gives a better picture as to how the Indigenous Labour market is doing.

Tuesday's wintery weather leads to multiple traffic collisions for Corner Brook RNC
Tuesday’s wintery weather caused a number of vehicles to get stuck in heavy snow on the Trans-Canada Highway. A section of the roadway had to be closed for several hours to allow police and other agencies to clear abandoned vehicles to make way for plows to operate.
