Provincial Action Network on Status of Women releases a report to end gender based violence

    The report contains 88 action items and 17 recommendations to prevent and end Gender Based Violence.

    The Provincial Action Network on the Status of Women (PANSOW) has released a report to end gender based violence in this province. It’s called, “'Seeds of Change' Community Perspectives on Gender-Based Violence, Advocacy and Action in Newfoundland and Labrador.” The report contains 88 action items and 17 recommendations to prevent and end Gender Based Violence. The federal government is investing nearly $13.6 million over four years to support the implementation of the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence in this province.
