The whole province is under a fire ban which will remain in place until September 7th due to extreme wildfire activity on the east coast. The town of Western Bay is the latest to be evacuated and an evacuation alert has been issued for Ochre Pit Cove. The town of Small Point-Adam’s Cove-Blackhead-Broad Cove as well as Kingston, Conception Bay South, and sections of Holyrood.
