He says tax bills can be large for some businesses, with some paying from thousands of dollars to tens of thousands.
Brake says these initiatives will help change how some entrepreneurs may view the city, having heard in the past that Corner Brook may not be the most business friendly city. He says this new council wants to increase the business diversity in the city. Businesses and residents with overdue taxes will also have the interest cut in half.
