Council and staff will then meet to discuss the 2026 budget from November 25th-27th.
Corner Brook Mayor Linda Chaisson ran a campaign focused on accountability and transparency leading up to October’s municipal election, and with the city’s budget coming soon, she is living up to that commitment. She says people have asked and there will be a public consultation session starting 7 p.m. this Monday evening at city hall and everyone is invited. Council and staff will then meet from November 25th-27th. Chaisson says people are invited to bring their voice to city hall and let them hear it.
