Porter Airlines to fly five times a week from Deer Lake Regional Airport to Toronto Pearson starting in June

    The service is due to start June 10th. 

    Porter Airlines has announced a summer schedule and they’ll be flying nonstop between Deer Lake and Toronto Pearson 5 days a week. Porter is increasing capacity for Deer Lake to Toronto from the original option of 3 times a week to five providing Newfoundlanders and Labradorians with more options. The service is due to start June 10th.  From Toronto Pearson, passengers can also now avail of frequent connections to Cancun, Florida and Nashville. 

    Porter vice president Andrew Pierce, says  “Our overall network is growing by 20%, the fastest rate for any airline in North America, as we continue providing service for more passengers.” 

    Porter’s service includes no middle seats, complimentary wine and beer served in glassware and premium snacks. Routes operated with the new Embraer E195-E2 with free, fast WiFi available for everyone.
