Porter Airlines flies into Deer Lake for the first time, creating a daily route to Halifax

    President and CEO Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority, Tammy Priddle says the new Halifax-Deer Lake route will be served by the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400. With two-by-two seating, there are no middle seats on any Porter flight and all flights offer free premium snacks and complimentary beer and wine for every passenger.

    The Deer Lake Regional Airport is welcoming a new first ever flight service by Porter Airlines. The new route starts with daily, roundtrip service between Deer Lake and Halifax. President and CEO Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority, Tammy Priddle says maximizing business development was one of four goals with air access growth as a key objective. Priddle says the new Halifax-Deer Lake route will be served by the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400. With two-by-two seating, there are no middle seats on any Porter flight and all flights offer free premium snacks and complimentary beer and wine for every passenger. PorterReserve passengers enjoy extra legroom, priority check-in and boarding, and ticketing flexibility on all flights.
