The project was made possible through a partnership with Transport Canada under the National Trade Corridors Fund (NTCF) and the provincial Government.

The Port of Corner Brook has officially opened a new 24,000- square-foot waterfront warehouse on Riverside Drive. Marketing and Business Development Manager Holly McDonald says it is divided into four units, 6,000-square-foot each. McDonald says the purpose of the project is to support a regular container shipping service between the Port of Corner Brook and overseas markets. The new warehouse provides additional logistics space for businesses shipping goods through the Port and supports potential import and export operations for a range of industries. By expanding available storage and logistics space, the warehouse enables more efficient movement of goods while creating new opportunities for trade through the Port of Corner Brook. McDonald says this strengthens opportunities for businesses, partnerships and trade. The project was made possible through a partnership with Transport Canada under the National Trade Corridors Fund (NTCF) and the provincial Government.
