Police pull impaired driver over in Cormack, after he sped past doing 60 km/hr over the speed limit

    It happened Wednesday on Route 430 and when police caught up to him, the driver failed a roadside breath test and blew nearly twice the limit at the detachment.

    An officer on patrol with RCMP Traffic Services West in Cormack arrested an impaired driver who passed police doing 60 km/hr over the speed limit. It happened Wednesday on Route 430 and when police caught up to him, the driver failed a roadside breath test and blew nearly twice the limit at the detachment. The 52-year-old St.Pauls man is due to appear in court next month. His license was suspended, and the vehicle was seized by police.
