At approximately 10:05 on March 27, 2026, police received multiple reports of a woman who appeared to be in distress, walking near the corner of St. Clare Avenue and Gallant Street in Stephenville.
Bay St. George RCMP is looking to speak with an unknown woman involved in an incident reported in Stephenville Friday morning. Police are hoping to confirm her identity and well-being as soon as possible.
At approximately 10:05 on March 27, 2026, police received multiple reports of a woman who appeared to be in distress, walking near the corner of St. Clare Avenue and Gallant Street in Stephenville. The woman, who was described as small with blond hair was partially clothed and appeared to be running away from an unknown man.
The woman left the area before police officers arrived. Witnesses reported that she departed in a dark-coloured pickup truck driven by another unknown female.
Bay St. George RCMP is looking to identify and speak to this woman to confirm her wellbeing as soon as possible
