18-year-old Frank Major was arrested in an area on West Valley Road and Elford Avenue area.
Corner Brook RNC is looking for information or witnesses after a weekend weapons incident at Margaret Bowater Park this past weekend. Police were called to the park around 9:30 Saturday night (October 4th) after a report of someone in the area pointing a firearm. They searched the park and nearby trails and two hours later, 18-year-old Frank Major was arrested in an area on West Valley Road and Elford Avenue area. RNC say he had a long barrel BB gun, pellets, and a hunting-style knife. Major is facing a number of weapons related charges.
