Yesterday, police found more than a kilo of cocaine, cell phones, cash and other items during the search of the Deer Lake home.
One man and two young people were arrested on Wednesday after police searched a car and a home in Deer Lake. At around 2:30 p.m., RCMP and RNC officers with the JFO West team stopped a vehicle near Corner Brook. Two occupants of the car were taken into custody and a short time later, Deer Lake RCMP arrested 29 year old Zuhayr Ali of British Columbia. The two youths are from Alberta and are also facing drug trafficking charges.
