Within two weeks of being launched, Corner Brook’s Smoke Alarm Distribution program has been a huge success. Within just two weeks of being launched, the City of Corner Brook Fire Department received over 700 requests for smoke alarm installation within Corner Brook and surrounding areas in Western Newfoundland. This means fire department staff will be doing installation visits well into November.
