A fireworks display celebrating the 75th anniversary of Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador will take place at 9 o'clock tonight from Cook's Lookout.
Municipalities NL’s 75th anniversary is underway with a convention in Corner Brook. Mayor Linda Chaisson tells Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit, says the convention was supposed to be held here last year but there was not enough hotel space available at the time so it took place in Gander. Chaisson says there are over 600 participants in the city for this convention.
