The Federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change has determined that the Port au Port-Stephenville Wind Power and Hydrogen Generation Project proposed by World Energy GH2 Inc. does not warrant designation under the Impact Assessment Act. A request for designation of the project was made on April 18, 2023 and the Minister’s decision was announced September 29th.
