Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture Minister Elvis Loveless is the new chair of the Canadian Council of Forest Ministers (CCFM). He recently attended meetings in British Columbia to share priorities, common challenges, and emerging opportunities in Canada’s forest sector. The outgoing chair is a Minister of Forests in British Columbia. Loveless says “Newfoundland and Labrador is honoured to take the CCFM helm and continue guiding the agenda on the growth and diversification of Canada's forest sector."
