The NL Environment Network is hosting a ‘Green Conversation' this evening highlighting wildfires, extreme weather and ocean change. Those in the capital city can head to the Whale Atrium at MUN’s Science building but there’s also an option to attend online through Zoom ( https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82582358300..) Diana Baird is the Chair of the NLEN Steering Committee. She says the session will start with a couple of expert researchers at MUN; Carissa Brown (Climate and Environmental Change, Department of Geography, MUN) and Uta Passow (Understanding the Ocean, Department of Ocean Sciences, MUN). Baird says it was an unprecedented summer in NL with wildfires and this session is about sharing knowledge about changes in climate change. More details can be found on the NLEN Facebook page. Tonight’s session takes place from 7-9 p.m.
