Fisheries and Oceans is planning on building a breakwater and wharf in Lark Harbour for small crafts. The proposal was recently approved by government with certain conditions. The Mayor says it will mean a lot to the area. The proponent must uphold all commitments made in the environmental assessment to control the effects of the project on the environment.
