The new Chief Administrative Officer with Qalipu First Nation says it’s such a joy to be able to return home and serve his nation. Originally from the Elmastukwek (Bay of Islands), Brad Evoy brings over 18 years of experience across the labour and non-profit sectors, including leadership, governance, advocacy, and consulting roles. Evoy also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University.
Evoy says the future of the band is determined by the Chief, the Council and the collective voices and he feels as CAO it’s about bringing all that into action with the team. Evoy has a special connection to Bayfm, and its’ beginnings as Bay of Islands Radio at Grenfell Campus, as one of the founding members.
