Justin Ladha replaces Glenn Barnes, who served as board Chair since October 2022.
Justin Ladha has been appointed as Chair of Memorial University’s Board of Regents. Ladha is a business developer and has served on the Board since 2023. Mr. Ladha replaces Glenn Barnes, who served as board Chair since October 2022. Barnes resigned after sending an email to the parent of a former student. The email stated, "I am telling parents that I know just what their kids are doing, they need to grow up." Education Minister Krista Lynn Howell says Mr. Ladha’s “experience as a member of the board, combined with his professional background, will provide crucial leadership as the university embarks on its presidential search and continues to work on other important matters.”
