It’s Men’s Health Month and the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation is promoting “Move for Mental Health.” Quinn Jesso is with the Community Mental health Initiative here in Corner Brook. She joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit to talk about ways that everyone can join in. Jesso says there are still stigmas attached to what society expects of men, like big boys don’t cry, and this does not help men. She will be at Canadian Tire on June 27th from 12-3 handing out information and offering a chance to talk. Doorways is also a walk-in service offered by CMHI located on Boone’s Road.
